This program focuses mainly on men. We have noticed the increased number of NGOs and programs geared towards the empowerment of women and while that is very admirable, we have noticed the gap in education of the men in our society. We believe that society is created first by the family unit and if the family is created by Man and Woman, we cannot have a successful society if only one side of the union is being catered to, educated and empowered.

Part of our analysis also has led us to believe that the main “issues” in the family unit including domestic violence, abandonment, and inadequate or inaccurate definitions of ‘Masculinity” are statistically male issues and if we work with women without correcting the issues with the men, we will still have a broken society and broken generations. It is on this that we hinge our focus on men. We join the conversation of women empowerment and gender equality but from the side of the men. We believe if we can show men how to be with an empowered woman, how to have empowered children and how to be a productive male in society, we would make the equation even more balanced and make way for a productive society.

This program has started out with the computer school and will grow to include training in skills including but not limited to:

These skills will be certified providing their future customers a guarantee on their work. Within the program, our trainees are also taught entrepreneurship skills and are given a platform to exercise those skills.
